These fees cover physician visits and care. Medication is a separate cost paid at the pharmacy.
Every visit is by video with a Pennsylvania-licensed, board-certified physician, Dr. Diala Alatassi.
2. The medication
TeleSlim Clinic does not sell or dispense medication. If a prescription is appropriate, it is sent to the pharmacy you choose, such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Costco or Giant Eagle. Cash prices for weight-loss medications typically run about $150 to $450 per month depending on the medicine and dose. Manufacturers and pharmacies change prices and programs often, so confirm today’s price with the pharmacy before you fill.

3. Insurance, superbills and HSA/FSA
We do not bill insurance for our own visits. We do handle prior authorization for your medication, and we send prescriptions and lab orders to the pharmacy or lab you choose, where your insurance can be used. You can request a superbill and submit it to your insurer for possible reimbursement of the visit fee, which is not guaranteed. Many plans exclude weight-loss drugs, and coverage varies widely.
